JANUARY PTA MEETING
Join us for our January PTA meeting as we kick off 2025! We'll be talking all things Father/Daughter and Mother/Son and going over our many spring events. We hope to see you there!
Exceptional Children's Week-1/27-1/31
MGC at PMES is OUT OF THIS WORLD! And we can't wait to celebrate our Multi-Grade Classes during Exceptional Children's Week at the Mill! All PMES students are invited to celebrate with us during the week of January 27th-31st. (Our celebrations will be taking place a little early this year in order to ensure our MGC students' special week is documented before the yearbook submission deadline. We will hold a separate mini-celebration in the spring in conjunction with the Georgia Council for Exceptional Children.) Our MGC students and teachers will be participating in special events throughout the week and ALL PMES students will be invited to sign (or re-sign!) our Inclusivity Pledge in the front lobby. Be sure to stay tuned to our Facebook page to keep up with the fun we're having!potential. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that fosters a love of learning. At Puckett's Mill Elementary PTA, we believe that education is about much more than just acquiring knowledge – it’s about developing the skills and character traits that will enable our students to become successful and responsible members of society.
PMES Starry Nights Father Daughter Dance
The Puckett’s Mill PTA is excited to invite all current PMES girls and their father, grandfather, uncle, or family escort to embark on a galactic journey through the cosmos at our Starry Nights dance! Sweet treats, a rocking DJ, photo booths and tons of picture taking opportunities will make this a stellar night nobody will ever forget!
Tickets are $30 per student/chaperone and $10 per additional female student sibling.
Star Bracelet Accessory and Boutonnieres are $5 each. These will be sent home the day prior to the dance and are sold as a school fundraiser for our music program. Pictures available on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/PMESPTA).
Ticket sales will end February 4th or once the event sells out. Please read carefully below while making your ticket selection. Everything must be purchased in advance and nothing will be sold at the door. Tickets can be purchased by sending in the form sent home in Friday Folders with cash or a check made payable to “PMES PTA”. Want to submit photos for this year's yearbook? We love that! You can email your photos to pmeshawksyearbook@gmail.com or just post them in the comments section when we issue photo calls right here on Facebook! No need to do both-our Yearbook Committee will pull the photos from Facebook if you post them =)

This will earn our school cash back for in-person shopping and dining. You can also head to the Local Offers page in your Givebacks account to see which local restaurants and retailers are donating to our cause.
3. Earn cashback!
Once you have added the browser extensions, go shopping to start earning cashback and send the $5 bonus to our cause. You'll also earn $5 for each new active backer you refer.

The goal of the PTA is to enhance the educational experience for all students at Puckett's Mill. Thanks to a lot of generous support from families like yours, the PTA sponsors and provides:

At the end of each school year, any remaining PTA funds are donated back to PMES. While the PTA does make donations to the school throughout the year for very specific uses (music program, media center, etc.), the end of year donation is to be used exclusively for educational materials and support.
We're grateful for the community we have at PMES to be able to support our teachers, staff and students this way. We truly believe PMES is a special place and it wouldn't be the same without all of you!
